This brief involved creating a theatre poster for a play of choice that will be performed by the Sydney Theatre Company.

I settled on a design of a stormy sea with roiling waves, cloudy skies and crackling lightning with Odysseus’s trireme slightly off centre to subconciously instill unease in the viewer. Each of those elements were created using a different physical medium from pastel to pencils to water colours and airbrushing.

I scanned all elements and placed them into Adobe Photoshop where I added the remaining information.
